Mobile Commerce Fraud

About 12 percent of all e-commerce transactions are on track to be facilitated by mobile devices by 2012, however mobile commerce fraud detection is lacking. According to Gartner. "Enterprise applications must detect fraud in these mobile environments, but fraud detection tools available today that work in [wired] computing environments don't work well or at all in the mobile world." William Clark a Gartner analyst notes that mobile fraud detection tools will not be mature until at least 2012. It is imperative for enterprises to create and implement mobile fraud detection systems.
